Survival
- Always keep enough money for:
- A moving truck and one year of storage for your belongings.
- Calculate the greatest distance you travel and keep enough money on you to get your car towed home.
- Six months pay (minimum)
- Keep at least one car that you own outright.
- Keep a bag that has everything you need to survive without society for at least a month.
- Learn how to survive without help and without society and practice those methods often.
Relationships
- If you have to hide money (or your spouse does) seek help.
- Look at your parents and think to yourself, "Do I want to marry someone like that?" Whether the answer is yes or no, keep that in mind when selecting a spouse. This also reflects on yourself, every type attracts a complimentary type. So if your not happy with the type you attract you have to change yourself.
- Pay attention to the common denominator in every situation good or bad. You will see who's a good person and who's an asshole. This also applies to yourself so don't under or over estimate especially when it comes to self reflection.
Kids
- Unstructured Challenges. Give them the outcome you'd like to see (fix this, install that) and let them figure it out. This will foster independence and self esteem as well as reinforce critical thinking and problem solving.
General
- Think ten years out, then ten years from there. Where will people you want to be around be?
